Benefits from long-term care insurance require a care level. With this free care level calculator, you can estimate whether it might be worth applying to your long-term care insurance fund. The estimate is based on the official assessment procedure (New Assessment Instrument, NBA) that the Medical Service also uses for the actual assessment.
Who is this calculator for?
This calculator is intended exclusively for adults in need of care. Different criteria apply to children, which are not covered here.
What isn't asked?
- Help with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping, cooking) is not scored separately and is therefore not asked about here.
- You will not be asked about diagnoses or illnesses - what matters is only their actual impact on independence and abilities.
